An EMERGENCY interpreting assignment is a request with less than 24 hours’ notice.

To place an EMERGENCY request:
During business hours: Call 314-647-8888 or 1-800-445-4440 and state that you have an emergency interpreting request. You will be connected to our Interpreting Department for immediate assistance.
After business hours: Call 314-647-8888 or 1-800-445-4440, and press #4. You will be connected to our 24/7 call center for immediate assistance.
Please have the following information ready when you place your emergency request:
- Name of individual or company requesting the service
- Appointment time
- Appointment location, including the complete address
- Name of Client/Patient for whom interpreting services are needed
- Language and type of service needed (for example, consecutive or simultaneous foreign language interpreting, American Sign Language, etc.)
No-shows: Please note that any services requested will be subject to the agreed-upon charges, regardless of whether your client does or does not appear for a scheduled appointment.
Not Registered with ILC?
It’s easy and quick! Registration with International Language Center allows you and your company to receive immediate emergency after-hour Interpreting Services, both on-site and by telephone at any time of day or night, including weekends and holidays! To register, call ILC at 314-647-8888 or 800-445-4440 during regular business hours Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (CST).
