American Sign Language instructors – Must be able to communicate effectively in American Sign Language, demonstrate a willingness to work with children and adults in both private and group settings, and show credentials via a list of courses taken OR a minimum Level 2 certification from the State of Missouri. Korean language instructors – Must be native Korean speaker OR non-native fluent in reading, writing and speaking Korean. We also welcome on an ongoing basis new contract linguists with the following specializations:
Foreign language interpreters (simultaneous and consecutive): ALL LANGUAGES
Qualifications: Must possess prior experience in interpreting; hold a minimum of a high school diploma; include 3 professional references; be legal to work in the United States and have a flexible schedule to assist with daytime appointments and/or after-hour emergencies.
ASL Interpreters (St. Louis, Missouri and Midwest): LEVEL 3 or higher
Qualifications: Must possess valid state certification; have prior experience in sign language interpreting, include 3 professional references, be legal to work in the United States and have a flexible schedule to assist with daytime appointments and/or after-hour emergencies.
Professional translators, proofreaders, editors: ALL LANGUAGES
Qualifications: Must have linguistic and/or specialized degree, a minimum of 5 years’ experience; 3 professional references and accreditation/certification from a U.S. and/or foreign professional association.
Voice-Over Narrators: ALL LANGUAGES
Qualifications: Previous voice recording/narration experience in your native language preferred. Must be legal to work in the United States and have a flexible schedule to assist with daytime appointments.
